We want to make history, says Gila -

Fiorentina striker Alberto Gilardino says his teammates feel like they could make history against Bayern Munich this evening.
The Viola have to overturn a 2-1 deficit suffered in controversial circumstances at the Allianz Arena in Munich two weeks ago.
“If the dressing room could speak it would say that we feel in front of the doors of history,” Gila told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“The future is now because it's an important challenge: for us, for Florence, for me and my teammates, for the staff and the club. And for Italy's Champions League future, seeing that we are playing against Germany in the UEFA Co-efficient.
“There is an entire city ready to support us. I know that once again the fans will be there. They are fantastic. We will carry them with us on the pitch in our play and our infinite desire to win. And they, the fans, only have to think about being themselves - special like always.
“They have to think about creating a sporting hell, something that drags you forward if you need a hand, something more.
“We promise that they will see a team with attributes, a Fiorentina side that has players who always, and I repeat always, want to give their utmost, the best, even the impossible.
“It will happen again this evening,” he concluded.
