Zampa believes in fourth -
July-30-10
Maurizio Zamparini is convinced that his Palermo side and Napoli are in contention to finish in the top four this season.
The Rosanero finished fifth last term, one place above the Azzurri, but Zampa is confident ahead of 2010-11.
“Palermo and Napoli will make sure that the south are well represented in Serie A during the campaign,” noted the businessman.
“I think we are just as strong as each other and we’ll do battle for a Champions League place,” he continued.
“Milan, Roma and Juventus haven’t significantly strengthened over the summer and therefore it’ll be a great scrap behind Inter.”
Palermo start their campaign with a home tie against Cagliari, while Napoli are away at Fiorentina in Week 1.
