Zapata: I’m a wanted man -

Udinese defender Cristian Zapata claims that five top European clubs are interested in his services.
The 23-year-old stopper, who can play as a right-back or in the middle, has been regarded as a star of the future since his move to Udine in 2005.
“I know that Juventus, Milan, Fiorentina, Villarreal and Arsenal have all made enquiries,” said the Colombian.
“There are a number of clubs who are interested in signing me, but nobody has made a bid at this present time.
“If a good offer is made to Udinese then I think they will consider it, but the club are not in a position where they have to sell me this summer.”
Zapata had disappeared off the radar of the top clubs over the last two years due to his fitness problems.
Before a problematic 2008-09 campaign, the South American was valued at €12m by the Bianconeri.
The player’s agent, Massimo Italiani, did recently suggest that if his client moved this summer then he’d probably go abroad rather than stay in Serie A.
