Palombo on Milan radar -
July-30-10
Sampdoria captain Angelo Palombo is the latest central midfielder to be associated with Milan.
The Rossoneri are thought to be looking for a new option in the middle of the park and Palombo has been linked.
Palombo, part of Italy’s disastrous 2010 World Cup campaign, won’t be an easy target to tempt away from Marassi.
Doria see the former Fiorentina player as a key man and warned Juventus earlier this summer that he wouldn’t be sold.
Milan, who claimed on Wednesday that their market manoeuvres have basically come to an end this summer, have been paired with numerous names in recent weeks.
Fiorentina’s Marco Donadel, Manuele Blasi of Napoli and Real Madrid’s Mahamadou Diarra are all understood to be players who the club have been monitoring.
